In May and June, the slopes of the valley burst into bloom, much to the delight of bugs and butterflies. There are a huge range of habitats within a small area. This route takes you through the chalk downland of Whyteleafe Bank, to the fields of Kenley Common which are full of buttercups and dandelions. The return route provides beautiful views of the cliffs.
